Saffron was created by a younger member of the Design Team. She studied several notes and researched which note would complement the other.  She knew she wanted a soft woody scent with a hit of sweet and spice.

She quickly decided on the soft leathery scent of Saffron, followed by the spicy yet sweetness of Resin, which would turn out to be the heart of the product, and then the aromatic and woody notes of Fresh Tobacco was added which provides warmth and comfort.

With all the research that went into designing this product, the Team decided to name it Étude, which means ‘to study’ in French.
