They began their ‘Logan’ vision in September 2019 which just so happened to be a month dedicated to one of their “Give back” products. September is recognized as Sickle Cell Awareness Month, so it was almost an instinctive thought to have their first “Give Back” product dedicated to the disease that affected one of their close family members. Sickle Cell Disease is an incurable blood disorder that so many must live with, but with so many dedicated researchers, todays continued explorations have developed countless methods for pain management and have extended the life expectancy from 20yrs of age to well into the 50s.
The Design Team was very intentional when choosing the packaging for the ‘Logan’ product. They decided to go with burgundy to align with the burgundy ribbon that represents Sickle Cell Awareness. They, also, pushed a bit deeper and discovered that burgundy is also in the war color scheme. They thought what a perfect discovery since those fighting the disease are truly ‘war’riors.
‘Logan’ is designed with White Sage Lavender which brings a positive energy and calms the mind while being an effective soother. Baby Powder was added to exemplify softness.
Portion proceeds from this product go toward research initiatives to assist in fighting this disease.
