Candle Care
Here are some candle care tips to help you get the most outof your new candles:
Trim the Wick: Before each burn, trim the wick to about 1/4
inch to prevent excessive smoke and ensure a clean, even burn.
First Burn: Allow your candle to burn for at least 2-4 hours
during the first use (depending on diameter), or until the wax has melted to
the edges of the container. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even
burn in subsequent uses.
After Use: Allow the candle to cool completely before
relighting or moving. Check the wick for any debris or trim before lighting
again.
Storage: Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from
direct sunlight to prevent discoloration or melting.
Subsequent Burns: Keep your candle burning for no more than
4 hours at a time to prevent overheating. Always extinguish the candle if the
flame becomes too high or flickers excessively.
Placement: Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface
away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets.
Refrain from Moving: Avoid moving the candle while it's burning,
or the wax is still hot to prevent spills or accidents.
Extinguish Safely: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out
the flame to extinguish your candle. Avoid dipping the wick into the melted
wax.
After Use: Allow the candle to cool completely before
relighting or moving. Check the wick for any debris or trim before lighting
again.
Storage: Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from
direct sunlight to prevent discoloration or melting.
By following these candle care tips, you can enjoy a
longer-lasting, safer, and more enjoyable candle experience.
