Lit Moments began with a simple idea shared around a table...and grew into a brand rooted in connection, intention, and the transformative power of fragrance.

In 2019, during what we have always called “mother-daughter time,” we gathered around the table for a quiet evening of laughter, conversation, and candle-making. What started as something fun took an unexpected turn when someone said, “Let’s start a candle business.”

We laughed...then looked at one another and thought, Why not?

That spontaneous moment became the beginning of Lit Moments. We shared the idea with our families, and even through a few puzzled looks, they supported us wholeheartedly. Their encouragement gave us the confidence to turn an evening around the table into something we could build together.

Finding Our Why

As Lit Moments evolved, so did our purpose.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we began to understand that what we were creating was about far more than candles. In a season when home, comfort, and connection took on greater meaning, we recognized the powerful role fragrance could play in how a space feels and how a moment is experienced.

Our own sensitivities to certain fragrances also challenged us to become more intentional about what we created. We began thoughtfully selecting cleaner ingredients, mindful fragrance blends, and sustainable materials that we could feel confident using in our own homes and sharing with others.

That philosophy inspired collections centered on balance, mindfulness, and intentional living, while shaping the foundation of the Lit Moments brand.
